Notice:

I'm very sorry to inform Mort's visitors that he passed away on December 30, 2008 at the age of 84. He died peacefully in his home with his loved ones at his bed. Through his research and writings, Mort intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally touched the lives of many people. You can find references to his work on web sites from all over the world. He had always hoped this web site would inspire somebody to one day continue his projects.

I made a promise to Mort early in 2008 that when his time had expired this web site would live on in his memory. I know Mort would frequently receive emails with questions about the articles on this site. Since this is no longer possible I'm currently looking into adding discussion boards so visitors can continue the intellectual exchange that Mort loved.
